Modern motherboards and electronic systems are designed with an excessive number of components. Each component adds cost, occupies space, consumes energy, and represents a potential point of failure. The industry has followed a path of adding more hardware to solve problems. Production costs rise with each new generation. The area occupied by boards increases. Reliability decreases because there are more points of failure. Energy consumption increases because each component adds resistance and losses. This problem is particularly evident in high-performance motherboards, where hundreds of components are used for functions that could be simplified. We have developed a solution.
