This volume is part of the La Profilée Foundations Series. Its immediate purpose is to operationalize the nine domain runs used throughout the cross-domain proof — to show, for each, how the structural roles (existence Q1, identity Q2, frame F, module M, coupling K, load R) are measured from antecedent, theory-independent observables under the Indicator Independence Condition, without circularity. During that work a broader result emerged, and it is the volume’s real contribution: the same methodological constraints proved unavoidable across otherwise unrelated scientific domains. Independent of La Profilée (LP), every operationalization met the same small set of problems — role versus proxy, proxy versus measurement, operationalization versus ontology, model-dependence versus theory-dependence, determinacy versus truth, proof versus diagnosis, prediction versus evaluation. The nine domains are best read not as nine applications but as nine controlled experiments on a single methodology, the domains serving as the varied test conditions and the operationalization discipline as the object under study. The domain changed at every step. The methodological discipline did not. Working on LP required the construction of a general discipline of operationalization; this volume presents the nine runs as the grid on which that discipline was tested, and the discipline itself as the result. Stated as the volume’s leading claim: during the operationalization of LP across nine domains, a recurring set of distinct operationalization archetypes emerged — and across all of them the same small set of methodological problems had to be resolved in the same way. The taxonomy of archetypes and the grammar of rules that resolves those problems are presented here as a methodological result in their own right — discovered while operationalizing LP, but valid independently of the acceptance of LP.
