Abstract. This study analyzes the therapeutic efficacy, survival rates, and complication profiles of CRS plus HIPEC in patients suffering from diffuse peritoneal surface malignancies. A retrospective evaluation of patients undergoing this multimodal strategy demonstrated that a low Peritoneal Cancer Index (PCI) and complete cytoreduction (CC-0) are crucial indicators of prolonged overall survival. Despite considerable hematological and gastrointestinal toxicities, the regional dose intensification and thermal enhancement of cytotoxicity offer a substantial survival advantage compared to conventional systemic chemotherapy alone.
