The author provides detailed information on the methodological principles of the communicative orientation of the teaching process and explores the factors that determine the essence of these principles. The factors determining the essence of methodological principles arc: the objectives of foreign language teaching, speech activity - speech act, interaction of the learned language with pupils mother tongue. The author also emphasizes the importance of the initial stage of the teaching process and emphasizes that the development and strengthening of initial skills at this stage is of great importance.
