This study forms part of research that characterizes and identifies the architectural theory of Fumitaka Nishizawa (1915-1986) through his articles. Keywords were sorted and examined from the viewpoint of hierarchy of meaning, and the conceptual structure was organized into four levels. The first level of the conceptual structure consists of 【Architecture】, 【Garden】, and 【Relationship between Architecture and Gardens】. This study clarifies the conceptual structure and content of 【Relationship between Architecture and Gardens】in his architectural theory.
