Type-Rigidity of the Spiral Action The Triadic Field Content Forces the Spiral Least-Action Principle

The PQR framework establishes that coherent form decomposes into exactly three mutually nonrecoverable structures of distinct mathematical type, and separately exhibits a variational actionwhose extremization reproduces the triadic equilibrium and its stability. The framework states,with care, that this action is a reconstruction compatible with the framework rather than a quantityuniquely determined by it. This paper closes part of that gap. We show that once each eld isassigned the mathematical type the irreducibility theorem forces, Pattern a set-indicator, Process anevolution generator, and Rhythm the phase-order of the process, each term of the Spiral action is theunique lowest-order invariant that its eld’s type admits, and the relative sign of the vorticity-lockterm is forced rather than chosen.The result is a conditional rigidity theorem: within a classi ed family of local, lowest-derivative,bounded-below, phase-gauge-invariant scalar densities, the Spiral action is the unique element up tofour positive scale coe cients and the coupling λ, characterized equivalently by role-complete triadiccoupling, algebraic non-propagating Process variation, and the forced phase-stability boundaryc > µ. The admissible class is classi ed rather than stipulated: idempotency of the set-indicatorcaps Pattern at linear order and excludes higher-Pattern couplings as a property of the type, andfor a smoothed indicator the idempotency deviation is shown to be linear in the gradient andboundary-local, leaving the triadic product as the unique role-complete coupling. The same actionis singled out by three independent routes, eld-type classi cation, the phase-stability threshold,and operator-level closure under the weighted variational calculus; the threshold itself follows fromthe forced terms, the curvature of the phase-order response setting the scale of the source but notthe sign of the stability boundary. This promotes the action from a compatible reconstruction to anexpression forced, within the classi ed family, by the type structure the framework identi es as itsfoundational source.
