Abstract The study looks into how senior high school students in Delta State perceive and are interested in practical agricultural science. To direct the inquiry, two research questions were put out. This study employed a descriptive survey as its research design. The demographic used for the study was Delta State agricultural science students. 200 pupils were selected as the study's sample. The study's instrument is the questionnaire. The mean and standard deviation statistics were used to examine the produced data. Among other things, the results showed that students' perceptions of practical agricultural science are outstanding. From the study, agricultural science instructors should keep encouraging students' interest in practical agricultural science through motivation, curiosity, and a variety of pedagogical techniques, as well as by offering agricultural science facilities and educational materials.
