What is gravity? Newton said it is a force. Einstein said it is geometry. Verlinde said it is entropy. These three answers represent three levels of paradigm. This paper does not re-derive gravitational formulas—the PFUSRC framework already contains a complete gravitational ontology formula (PFUSRC-WEST-002). The task of this paper is to place Verlinde’s entropic force hypothesis (F x=T S) within the PFUSRC topological framework, clarify its position, boundaries, and contributions, and thereby demonstrate the completeness and superiority of the PFUSRC gravitational ontology. The core judgment of this paper is: Verlinde is not the antithesis of PFUSRC, but a natural ally of PFUSRC within mainstream physics. He is the first person within the mainstream framework, using thermodynamics and holographic principles, to pull gravity down from its position as a “fundamental force. ” His formula is valid at the phenomenal level and is equivalent, under specific conditions, to the projection of PFUSRC flow-variable gradient work. But he stopped at “observing phenomena, ” failing to answer: where does the direction of gravity come from? How is the phenomenon of entropy increase accompanied by gravitational decrease in the retreat phase explained? The answers to these questions lie not in entropy, but in topology. By comparing four gravitational models—Newton, Einstein, Verlinde, and PFUSRC—this paper demonstrates that PFUSRC is the only gravitational theory with a complete topological genetic chain: from topological structure → flowvariable distribution → seepage gradient → gravitational work, with directionality, hierarchy, and retreat phase all traceable. The entropic force hypothesis is a low-dimensional projection of the PFUSRC gravitational ontology under conditions of entropy-dominated, retreat-phase-absent scenarios. It is not wrong; it is incomplete.
