This paper presents a fundamental epistemological critique of contemporary physics and proposes a hierarchical vortex framework for cross-scale physical unification. We demonstrate that physical concepts—mass, time, space, force, and motion—originate from level-dependent cognitive processes shaped by specific spatial environments, with terrestrial surface conditions constituting the dominant epistemic framework. This "terrestrial centrism" has led to the imposition of macroscopic concepts onto microscopic and cosmic scales, creating irreconcilable theoretical fractures.The core insight is that all physical levels share a common feature: relative motion and relative rest. Non-uniform relative motion generates vortices, which spontaneously form infinite hierarchical spiral systems. These spiral systems differentiate into two fundamental morphologies based on internal motion characteristics: convergent (Type-I) systems and divergent (Type-II) systems.Convergent systems exhibit peripheral-to-central material accumulation, with bipolar ejection along the rotation axis forming jet streams. Due to infinite hierarchical substructure, the bipolar streams exhibit differential polarity, analogous to Earth's magnetic field. The ejected material diffuses and returns to the spiral periphery, re-entering the central disk—completing a material cycle. This morphology corresponds to protonic properties.Divergent systems display the inverse pattern: central-to-peripheral material diffusion, with sub-system separation at the periphery creating polarity. Material migrates toward the bipolar regions, returns to the center, and re-diffuses outward—completing the cycle. Conversely, divergent systems distribute polarity at the periphery, enabling rapid rolling motion through magnetic field coupling.The level-dependent nature of concept formation demonstrates that any unification attempt based on single-level concepts is inherently impossible. Only by adopting level-independent entities—relative motion—and level-independent structures—spiral systems—can genuine cross-scale unification be achieved.
