Ruan Kruger is a Professor of Physiology at North-West University in Potchefstroom, South Africa, where he serves as a sub-theme lead for Epidemiology and Preventive Science in the Hypertension in Africa Research Team. He is the President of the Childhood Hypertension Consortium of Africa and holds fellowship status with the International Society of Hypertension. His research focuses on hypertension and cardiovascular health in children and young adults.
