Conference IntroductionThe International Conference on Advanced Engineering and Technology (ICAET) took place in Incheon, Incheon National University, South Korea, from March 21 to 23, 2025. This conference brought together leaders from industry and academia to exchange and share their experiences, present research results, explore collaborations, and spark new ideas; its aim was to develop new projects and exploit new technologies in the field of applied materials and advanced material processing. The committee of the ICAET wishes to express their sincere thanks to all authors for their high-quality research papers and well-delivered presentations. All reviewers are also thanked for their careful comments and advice. Finally, thanks are given to MDPI for producing this volume. 2. A range of efforts are urgently needed for the prevention of and protection from disasters and calamities. Therefore, we recognized the necessity of disaster technologies and set up the Incheon Disaster Prevention Research Center (IDPRC) at Incheon National University (INU) in 1997. Accordingly, the Incheon Disaster Prevention Research Center (IDPRC) at Incheon National University (Figure 1) has conducted research on the prevention of disasters and calamities and disseminated this research through various seminars, conferences, and lectures. This research has been conducted in cooperation with researchers at Incheon National University (INU) in various fields, including structural, soil, hydraulic, and environmental research. The Incheon Disaster Prevention Research Center (IDPRC) aims to be a leader in the disaster industry through its various research activities and global conferences. 3.
