The article examines the modern features of personnel training for the agricultural sector of the economy in the context of digitalization of production, globalization of food markets and increased environmental requirements. The analysis of the role of human resources in the development of the agro-industrial complex has been carried out, the main challenges preventing the formation of highly qualified human resources have been identified, including a shortage of specialists, insufficient practice-oriented educational programs and the low attractiveness of agricultural professions for young people. The necessity of modernizing the agricultural education system is substantiated, promising directions for its improvement are proposed, based on the integration of education, science and business, the introduction of digital technologies into the educational process, the development of interdisciplinary competencies and the creation of a system of continuing professional education. The results obtained are of practical importance for developing strategies for staffing the agricultural sector and increasing its competitiveness in modern conditions.
