Electoral Success of Radical Right-Wing Ideology in the Parliamentary Elections in France 2024 and Germany 2025 as a Response to the Political Crisis

The article is devoted to aspects of the electoral success of right-wing radical parties in the extraordinary parliamentary elections of 2024 in the Republic of France and 2025 in the Federal Republic of Germany, the impact of migration crises, military conflicts and economic instability on the results of such elections, which in turn involves an analysis of the party landscape of the parliaments of the countries included in the subject of the study and necessitates the characterization of right-wing radical parties as a social and political phenomenon. The article reveals the trends that led to the “right” turn in the political processes of the European Union, establishes the fundamental principles and views on the management processes in the state, identifies interest groups that determine the authenticity of the radical right ideology and draws attention to the main ones – the role of the people as the bearer of statehood and democracy, issues of people’s freedom and expression of their will, economic aspects of political regulation and the role of social security, the ratio of small/medium and transnational businesses, the influence of supranational entities on the agenda of the member states of such supranational entities and the role of globalization processes. Along with theoretical developments, the article analyzes the reasons and prerequisites for holding early parliamentary elections in countries whose radical right parties are the subject of research, reviews the party landscape of the Republic of France and the Federal Republic of Germany, establishes the reasons for the growth of support for parties of the far-right political spectrum, including the emphasis of party programs on the politics of national identity, the migration crisis, economic stagnation, military conflicts in Eastern Europe and the Middle East, and draws a number of conclusions regarding the prospects for the development of socio-political processes, both in view of the significant share of seats in parliaments and in view of the opposition role of radical right parties.
