It is a herbo-metallic preparation(Rasaushadhi)commonly used by Ayurvedic practitioners.According to the World Health Organization,Ayurvedic medicines fall under the category of traditional medicine.These medicines are used for the prevention of illness, diagnosis, treatment and promotion of health. Understanding the pharmacodynamics of Ayurvedic drugs is essential for the scientific validation of their traditional uses.
