Aesthetic horticulture, the art and science of cultivating plants for beauty and functionality, has emerged as a vital tool in addressing climate change and conserving natural resources. This paper explores the role of aesthetic horticulture in promoting biodiversity, enhancing ecosystem services, and mitigating the adverse effects of climate change. Through a review of existing literatures and analysis of secondary data, the study highlights how integrating aesthetic horticulture into urban and rural landscapes can improve carbon sequestration, reduce urban heat islands, and conserve water resources. Findings reveal that aesthetic horticulture makes significant contributions to biodiversity conservation, water efficiency, urban greening, and climate resilience. The paper recommends policy interventions, community engagement, awareness programs, and sustainable landscaping practices to maximize environmental benefits and achieve ecological sustainability.
