In recent years, the country has proposed the rural revitalization strategy, providing a broad platform for practical education in higher vocational colleges. Higher vocational colleges can closely integrate teaching content with specific projects serving the local area, which can promote local economic development while achieving high-quality teaching, and also help higher vocational colleges cultivate new era talents with a sense of responsibility and patriotism. At present, scholars have achieved a lot of research results on practical education activities for college students, but not enough attention has been paid to the improvement path of practical education in higher vocational colleges from the perspective of rural revitalization. Based on the PDCA cycle theory, this paper conducts an in-depth analysis of the practical education model for the product art design major in higher vocational colleges to serve rural revitalization, and attempts to explore a new model of practical education for rural revitalization in higher vocational colleges.
