The article considers modern approaches to standardization and certification of products and services, analyzes procedures, legislative framework and development trends in this area. Particular attention is paid to the role of certification in ensuring the quality and safety of products, as well as the impact of global changes and digitalization on the standardization system. A comparative analysis of domestic and foreign practices is presented, problems are identified and solutions are proposed.
