In May 2020, a salvage excavation was conducted at 107 Bet Ha-Bad Street (Khan ez-Zeit), in the Muslim Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem (map ref. 221952–60/631799–809; Permit No. A-8715; Fig. 1), prior to the renovation of a store. The excavation, undertaken on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority and funded by the Franciscan Custodia de Terra Sancta, was directed by A.
