Rice is an important cereal crop grown in Pakistan and around the world. The present experiment was carried out in a Randomized Block Design with three Replications. Seven rice genotypes were grown to estimate correlation. Seven genotypes were studied viz. Niab 2K16, Sarshar, NIA Mehran, Shandar, Shahdab, Khushboo-95 and Shua-92.The analysis of variance of different characters was evaluated in rice genotypes which revealed high significance at P≤0.01 probability level for eight traits viz. plant height (cm), panicle length (cm), number of productive tillers plant-1, spikelets panicle-1, biological yield plant-1 (g), harvest index (%), grain yield plant-1(g),1000-grains weight (g). The mean performance results showed that plant height was maximum in Shandar and Khushboo, more tillers plant-1 were found in the genotypes Shandar and NIA-Mehran. The longest panicle was found in Khushboo,Niab and Shua , respectively. More number of grains panicle-1was observed in Sarshar and Shahdab respectively. More 1000-grain weight (g) was observed in Shua and Sarshar. Grain yield plant-1 (g) was observed greater in Nia mehranand Shandar, respectively. The biological yield was observed in Shandar, Shahdab and Shua-92.Harvest index was observed in Niab92 Sarhsar and khushboo. Grain yield plant-1 depicted a significant relationship with number of grains panicle-1 and thousand-grain weight (g) (r= 0.677**, 0.427**, 0.535**). Hence, it is suggested that Shandar, Khushboo, , Shua-92 can be used for future breeding program.
