The article discusses the dating of burial 3.2017 uncovered on the Roman Time Romanovo-Pugachevsky Pond burial ground in Northern Sambia. The burial consisted of the remains of the cremation of two men, placed in a large urn and accompanied by the burial of a horse. Some elements of costume were found in the urn (buckles, belt tips), weapons (spears, axes, umbons and shield maniples), as well as items of horse/rider equipment (bits, spurs). Based on the totality of items from the burial and taking into account radiocarbon dating, the burial is attributed to the year 70/80—200.
