This study aims to explore training methods to enhance the professionalism of technology teachers according to the revised 2022 curriculum. This study analyzed the necessity of training for technology teachers according to the revised curriculum and developed a professional training program that technology teachers need. The research methods included literature review, questionnaire survey, data analysis, training plan design, and expert discussion. The survey was conducted online targeting 239 technology teachers in middle and high schools. The results of the study are as follows. First, in the middle school technology content elements, there was a high demand for training on robots and control, biotechnology and sustainable technology, inventions and intellectual property. Second, in the high school technology content elements, there was a high demand for training on hyper-connectivity and information and communication engineering exploration, robots and automation case studies, and eco-friendly energy and energy transition cases. Third, in terms of training operation methods, offline group education by base region and online-offline mixed training methods were preferred. This study is significant in that it serves as basic data for developing and supporting various training programs to enhance the professionalism of technology teachers so that the revised 2022 curriculum can be operated effectively.
