Conceptual Approaches to Determining the Level of Effectiveness of Constitutional and Legal Norms

The work is devoted to the disclosure and comprehensive comparison of the content of conceptual approaches to determining the level of effectiveness of constitutional law norms. Various doctrinal views on the concept of ‘efficiency’ in the social sciences are considered, various models of perception of existing approaches in the constitutional law plane are proposed. The authors formulated theoretical, methodological and scientific and practical conclusions about the applicable criteria and indicators that allow to form an effective model for the implementation of constitutional law norms in specific constitutional law relations. In addition, an attempt was made to systematize the conceptual foundations for determining the effectiveness of the functioning of the entire legal system of the state, the basic social relations within which are regulated by constitutional law norms as prescriptions of higher legal force.
