Abstract Assuming its role as a leader through the volumes of cement transported and the kilometres travelled, cement manufacturers have always been committed to road safety through structured programmes based on five main chapters: • Support for transport business owners in the management of the health and safety of their employees (involvement, commitment, management systems, organization, etc.) • Driver’s management: Training, authorization, and certification programmes, behaviour monitoring, health programmes, etc. • Management of trucks: Compliance, inspections, maintenance programmes, etc. • Travel management: Travel risk management, in-vehicle monitoring systems, etc • Management of loading and unloading platforms: Customers and cement platforms management Brief learning outcomes of Special Session: • Sharing the cement road safety programme, allowing others to learn from it • Presenting road safety best practices.
