The article describes the role and content of innovation management in the logistics sector. The place of logistics innovations in ensuring the competitive advantages of the enterprise is considered. The dynamics and components of the logistics index, which assesses the status of logistics development in the country, are analyzed. It is noted that the logistics efficiency indicator is a component of the global innovation index, determines the role of logistics development in the country's innovative development and in recent years has significantly deteriorated for Ukraine. The author points out the peculiarities of the logistics sphere, which consist in different levels of priority of logistics processes for enterprises of different industries and are manifested in the organization of the innovation management system. Logistics has a dualistic character and can be considered as an approach to management and as an object of control in the management system. It is noted that the introduction of modern innovative solutions in the logistics sphere of enterprises is a condition for their effective functioning both in the field of logistics and in other industries. The peculiarity of the logistics sphere of a production enterprise is the correspondence of its level of innovation to the level of innovation of the main technologies. The most important principles in the system of innovation management in logistics (systematic approach, integrity and flexibility) are substantiated. The author's vision of the theoretical foundations of the concept of innovation management in logistics, based on a combination of economic theory, logistics theory and logistics concepts, theories of innovation management, is presented. The content of the innovative paradigm of logistics is considered. The range of methods, tools and technologies for innovation management in logistics implementation is defined, which allow solving both logistics tasks and tasks of development, support, evaluation and implementation of innovations. It is emphasized that the main functional aspects of the innovation management system in logistics are strategic planning for innovation, organizational changes and technological solutions aimed at introducing the latest information systems, automation and robotization of logistics processes. The social and environmental aspects of innovation management in logistics, the place of professional development of specialists involved in logistics, and knowledge management systems are also emphasized.
