Digital technologies in teaching English — a useful tool in education?

In the modern world of technology, the education sector has also undergone inevitable changes, namely, there has been a sharp transition to the online learning format. In this article we will directly consider the use of digital technologies in the context of teaching foreign languages. Indeed, despite the high popularity of the new format in education, opinions are strongly divided: foreign language teachers of the highest categories with half a century of experience deny this format of teaching, while young specialists do not even consider the traditional type of teaching from textbooks in classrooms.
