CONCLUSIONS: The lateral prostatic fascia approach was more efficient in identifying the anatomic NS dissection plane compared to the prostatic pedicle approach, while EF recovery at 1 year was similar. More exposure to lateral prostatic fascia approach may benefit training surgeons.
