External gear pumps are widely employed in various industrial applications due to their simplicity, reliability, and efficiency. However, they often generate considerable noise, which can be a significant concern in noise-sensitive environments. This article investigates strategies for enhancing noise reduction in external gear pumps through a comprehensive scientific approach. We explore the underlying mechanisms contributing to pump noise and propose innovative solutions to mitigate it effectively. Through experimental analysis and numerical simulations, we demonstrate the effectiveness of vibration-damping mounts in reducing noise levels and enhancing pump efficiency. Graphical representations further illustrate the impact of these mounts on noise reduction, providing valuable insights for engineers seeking to mitigate noise in external gear pumps. Keywords: noise reduction, vibration, external gear pump, hydraulic equipments.
