To enhance the distributed PV accommodation capability of the distributed smart grid (DSG), this paper proposes an active network reconfiguration strategy. Firstly, the distributed PV accommodation capability of the DSG is defined, and an optimization problem is formulated with the maximization of distributed PV accommodation capability as the objective. This is achieved through dynamic optimization and reconfiguration of the network topology to maximize the distributed PV accommodation capability. To efficiently solve the optimization problem, this paper proposes a hybrid computational approach that combines the genetic algorithm and linear programming. Finally, the proposed method is validated through simulation using the IEEE 33-node DSG as a case study. The results demonstrate that the approach proposed in this paper can effectively enhance distributed PV accommodation capability through active network reconfiguration.
