Abstract: This Companion Forum is a collaboration between the William and Mary Quarterly and the Journal of Slavery and Data Preservation to highlight new approaches to datasets about enslaved people. The Companion Forum includes articles in the WMQ by Nicholas Radburn, Tessa Murphy, and Stuart M. McManus. Radburn, Murphy, and McManus published their datasets and data articles in the JSDP .
