Physics is a science based on experiments. Physics experiment teaching can provide students with an accurate understanding of physical laws, and under the influence of traditional teaching concepts, it can enhance students' creativity. However, in the current scientific and technological environment, the experimental methods of college physics are not yet perfect, and the experimental data processing methods used are also relatively cumbersome and outdated, which leads to the increasingly incompatible requirements of college physics experimental courses with the development of modern science and technology. In response to the current problems in the processing of physical experiment data in universities, traditional methods for experimental data processing cannot meet the needs of rapid development. For example, the error calculation takes too long, and the curve drawing process relies on manual operation, which may affect the accuracy of the experiment. The Matlab discussed in this article is a commonly used scientific research software, and its GUI module is relatively mature. A GUI (Graphical User Interface module) is added to Matlab for parabolic trajectory and grating diffraction intensity distribution experiments. The experimental results indicate that the physical experiment simulation experiment based on Matlab is consistent with the actual situation.
