Рurpose. In this article, the author analyzes the issues of improving Russian statehood and society in difficult socio-legal and economic conditions, and provides the results of a sociological study. Methodology: the research is based on the use of general scientific and special methods: analysis, synthesis, induction, formal legal, abstract logical, etc. Conclusion. Information technologies in the modern world are developing very quickly. The requirements for the level, quality of vocational education and depth of knowledge of in-demand professions in the labor market are increasing every time, resulting in the need to reform the education system. Scientific and practical significance. The result of the work was the author’s proposal to create individual educational trajectories in higher educational institutions.
