This work describes a cost-effective approach to the minimization of noise levels found in the glass factory CEBRACE (Cecapava, SP, Brasil) during emergency situations. It included three main tasks: . problem identi cation. with local acoustical measurements; _ measurements analysis and noise control design; t implementation of acoustical treatment and nal measurement to evaluate the resulting noise reduction.
