This article presents a study on the values of different generations in the context of social changes, aimed at identifying the differences and similarities in value orientations among the Baby Boomer, Generation X, Y, and Z cohorts. The study employed Shalom Schwartz's methodology for assessing personal values, applied to a sample of 200 respondents representing four generations. The findings revealed similarities in values such as family security, respect for elders, and health. However, the study also highlighted unique generational traits, such as an emphasis on individualism and self-expression among Generation Z, and a desire for social harmony in Generation Y. Despite these differences, all generations demonstrated a shared commitment to values related to family, health, and social responsibility. These evolving value orientations reflect the adaptability and resilience of Moldovan society amidst contemporary global transformations.
