We describe 5 new genera, 9 new species and 1 new genus record of the tribe Alebrini (Hemiptera: Cicadellidae: Typhlocybinae) from China. Arbelana Anufriev rec. nov. is newly recorded from China based on A. ulmi (Anufriev) rec. nov. Oblongitubus Kang & Zhang gen. nov. is described based on 3 new species, O. linearis Kang & Zhang, O. caligicaudatus Luo & Huang and O. licinicaudatus Luo & Huang spp. nov., with O. linearis Kang & Zhang sp. nov. as type species. Minionia Luo & Huang gen. nov. is described based on type species M. stellicauda Luo & Huang sp. nov. Senebra Kang & Zhang gen. nov. is described based on 2 new species, S. bracteiformis Kang & Zhang and S. scapiformis Kang & Zhang spp. nov., with S. bracteiformis Kang & Zhang sp. nov. as type species. Shulebra Luo & Huang gen. nov. is described based on 2 new species, S. brunnala Luo & Huang and S. furvala Luo & Huang spp. nov., with S. brunnala Luo & Huang sp. nov. as type species. Solabra Luo & Huang gen. nov. is described based on type species S. robusta Luo & Huang sp. nov. We also reinstate placements of 2 species wrongly transferred to Alebra Fieber: Shaddai shaanxiensis Ma and Shaddai xianensis Ma. Detailed descriptions and illustrations and keys to males of the new taxa are provided.
