This study investigates the impact of problematic smartphone use on the mental health of primary school students. Through comprehensive methods including questionnaire surveys and data analysis, we conducted a thorough investigation into the current status of smartphone misuse among elementary students. The research reveals multidimensional adverse effects on emotional well-being, cognitive development, and social skills. We propose effective intervention strategies from three dimensions: family support, school education and management, and societal environment cultivation. These measures aim to provide valuable references for promoting the psychological health development of primary school students.
