Objective:The aim of this paper is to investigate the influence of dating app use on users' sexual behavior, focusing on the increase in the number of sexual partners and sexual desire. Through a questionnaire applied to a significant sample of participants, the paper aims to analyze the correlations between dating app use and changes in sexual behavior, with a focus on their possible psychological and social implications. Participants:116 people, 41% of them aged 18-25, of which 61.2% were women and 38.8% were men. The majority of participants were heterosexual, representing 81% of this study. Tools:Participants were asked to complete an online questionnaire regarding dating app use, sexual desire, and dating app-related behaviors. Results:The analysis of the responses revealed that people who use dating apps tend to have a higher number of sexual partners compared to those who do not use them. At the same time, the sexual desire of the users was found to be higher than that of those who do not use such platforms. Another significant result indicates that these apps are perceived as a source of stress and anxiety among the users. Also, many participants reported the potential of these platforms to generate addiction. This research is relevant because it not only highlights the impact of dating apps on sexual behavior, but also provides insight into their influence on the emotional state and self-image of the users. Conclusion: The results confirm the initial hypotheses. Keywords: apps, dating, behavior, sexual, tind.
