Salicarus maroccanus sp. nov. is described from Morocco, representing the first record of the genus Salicarus in North Africa. A differential diagnosis is provided, together with illustrations of the male and female genitalia and photographs of the dorsal habitus of the new species. A modified key couplet is also provided to incorporate the new species into the key to Salicarus species by Konstantinov et Hosseini (2024).
