Empagliflozin demonstrated anticonvulsant and anti-inflammatory effects by delaying seizure onset, reducing SWF, and modulating pro-inflammatory cytokine levels. These findings suggest that empagliflozin may have therapeutic potential in epilepsy through SGLT-2 inhibition.
