The ATLAS experiment has performed a broad programme of searches for long-lived particles (LLPs) using the full Run~2 dataset and the first Run~3 data at s = 13. 6~TeV. These analyses cover a wide variety of experimental signatures, including displaced jets, displaced vertices, anomalous ionisation, and unconventional final states such as lepton-jets and emerging jets. No significant deviations from the Standard Model have been observed, and the results set stringent new constraints on a range of benchmark scenarios. This contribution summarises recent highlights of the ATLAS LLP programme presented at LHCP~2025
