This study conducted accident consequence simulations for hazardous cargo container yards under various scenarios. Based on the protective distance criterion, simulations were performed for leakage, pool fire, jet fire, and explosion scenarios to determine the impact scope of accidents. Personal risk and social risk assessments were conducted considering surrounding environments and resident populations. The findings provide valuable guidance for risk management and safe storage of hazardous cargo in typical complex environments.
