Desmoplastic cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (dcSCC) is an aggressive variant with worse outcomes than conventional cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (cSCC). There is limited literature analysing the relationship between dcSCC and known high-risk features. This study compares high-risk histological features between dcSCC and cSCC, including ulceration and pattern of invasion, from a consecutive series of cases.
