Authors have developed a shear wall consisting of steel rods restrained from buckling with steel pipes and CLTs are placed in a lattice grid within the building framework. Glued-in-rod (GIR) joint system is adopted for joining between the steel pipes and CLTs. The buckling restraint performance of this system was investigated through element experiments in compression, one-unit horizontal load tests and 2×3-unit horizontal load tests.
