A project aimed at implementing evidence-based professional governance strategies for Nursing Professional Development (NPD) practice was evaluated in a health system with 163 NPD and interprofessional professional development practitioners. A structured framework, interactive education, and systemized tools resulted in measurable gains in pre- and post-Council Health Surveys. Findings support the scalability of these strategies to advance professional governance, sustain a culture of nursing excellence, amplify NPD voices, and foster collaborative, practice-driven decision-making.
