The Sahel region of Republic of Congo is particularly vulnerable to climate change impacts due to its arid and semi-arid landscapes. A mixed-methods approach combining qualitative interviews with quantitative data analysis of national surveys. The region experiences an average annual rainfall reduction by 10% over the last decade, leading to significant declines in agricultural productivity and livestock health. Climate change exacerbates existing vulnerabilities, particularly affecting food security and increasing migration pressures within the Sahel. Implement early warning systems for climate shocks and promote resilient livelihood diversification among vulnerable communities.
