The study explores the effectiveness of e-learning platforms in agricultural training programmes for rural women in semi-arid regions of Uganda, focusing on improving food security and economic empowerment. Participants were randomly assigned to one of two groups: Group A using Platform X and Group B using Platform Y. Data was collected through pre- and post-training assessments, including self-reported satisfaction surveys and performance metrics. Group X demonstrated a statistically significant mean increase in knowledge score = (12 3) \% over Group Y (p < 0. 05, 95% confidence interval). E-learning platforms have the potential to enhance agricultural training for rural women, with Platform X showing superior performance. Further research should investigate long-term effects and scalability of e-learning in similar contexts.
