In rural Lesotho communities, sustainable water supply solutions have been implemented to address critical water shortages and improve community health. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining surveys with qualitative interviews to gather data from both users and stakeholders. Users reported a significant improvement in water access (90% increased availability) and hygiene practices, correlating with cost savings (30% reduction in water tariffs). The sustainable water supply solutions demonstrated high user satisfaction but also highlighted the need for ongoing maintenance and community engagement. Continue pilot projects to scale-up successful models, integrate user feedback into future designs, and seek additional funding sources.
