A clinical case is presented of a patient who did not seek medical help for several years after the onset of the disease, and later did not follow the doctor's instructions. Lifestyle and alcohol abuse contributed to the development of concomitant pathology (cirrhosis of the liver), which, in combination with the main disease, led to the development of severe anemia syndrome, infected multiple tophi, and fatal sepsis. This case demonstrates the importance of not only timely seeking medical assistance at the very beginning of the disease, but also the need to follow medical recommendations at all stages of the disease.
