How Has the COVID‐19 Pandemic Affected the Influenza Seasonality Patterns in Different Climate Regions?—A Time‐Series Analysis
Key Points
Influenza activity patterns changed significantly after the COVID-19 pandemic.
Non-pharmaceutical interventions reduced influenza cases across all selected countries.
Observational analysis across various climate regions highlights varying effects on influenza seasonality.
This calls for ongoing monitoring to understand long-term impacts of pandemic-related measures.
