Possibilités et défis de la mise en œuvre de l’intelligence artificielle dans la gestion des eaux au Maroc.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a technology that enables computers and machines to simulate human learning, understanding, problem-solving, decision-making, creativity, and autonomy (https://www.ibm.com/think/topics/artificial-intelligence). Facing numerous challenges such as climate changes, successive dry period, increasing water consumption and its use diversification, Morocco, alongside the efforts already undertaken through the implementation of different techniques and processes, is called upon to implement AI for water resources management. This article explores the possibilities and challenges of implementing AI, as well as its usefulness and importance. Although, findings indicate that Morocco lags significantly behind leading nations in leveraging artificial intelligence for efficient water resource management.
