This paper sorts out Mr. Li Jingchi's viewpoints on the nature of the ancient text of Zhouyi and makes a preliminary evaluation. Regarding the nature of the ancient text of Zhouyi, Li Jingchi believes that it is a divination book containing philosophical thoughts. This viewpoint, on the basis of affirming that the ancient text of Zhouyi is a divination book, reasonably discusses the philosophical thoughts contained in it. It appropriately reconciles the contradiction between divination and philosophical connotations in the opposition between them.
